Jesse Ray Sample born

Tuesday, December 19th, 2006

My sister had her second boy this morning!

Jesse Ray came into the world with 6lbs. 4oz. of girth and took up 19.5″ of the ruler they stretched him across.

It sounds like all involved are happy and healthy; I’m off to the hospital to verify… ;)

Bookworm Adventures

Saturday, December 2nd, 2006

I don’t care who you are – gamer, garbage man, garage organizer – GO to PopCap Games’ site and download Bookworm Adventures. Do it now.

I’ll wait.

I just spent a few minutes playing the trial and it rocks. Simply, it’s a word-making game that’s cleverly married to an RPG. You make words to defeat opponents. Letters have attack values and the ‘bigger’ the word, the more damage you do to your enemies. It’s a riot. You even level up, unlock special items that enhance your word crafting, and supposedly rescue a princess.

It sounds really cheesy, and admittedly, it is. However, it’s cheese worth sampling.
