I recently took stock of all the games I’ve got sitting around the house that I just never finished. Some got started on the PC and then I allowed my attention to be torn away toward some new release on the DS. Some titles, unfortunately, I just got bored with. For fun’s sake, let’s take a tour of the un-done:
PC:
- Portal (actually started this back up the other day, good times)
- HL2 Episodes 1 and 2
Wii:
- Zelda Twilight Princess
- Zelda Wind Waker (I know it’s a Gamecube title… playing it on the Wii)
- Super Paper Mario
DS:
- Final Fantasy III
- Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings
- The World Ends With You (actively playing, ridiculously good)
- Professor Layton
- Phoenix Wright
- Zelda Phantom Hourglass
- Puzzle Quest
- Children of Mana
- Trauma Center (holy hard game, batman!)
- Metroid Prime Hunters
There you have it.
Now, I’m sure I’ll finish most of these games eventually… but I’m amused by the fact that I feel this chore-like obligation to finish all of them; even though they are forms of entertainment. What’s up with that? I suppose I could look at it this way… I’m just savoring each title over a long period of time?
