I thought I was going to be beating on this stump all day. Thankfully, it gave up the fight right before lunch! Unfortunately, it’s a heavy beast and I can’t move it into my backyard for … well, temporary hiding purposes. I need to get it reduced in size/weight in order to get rid of it. I also need to figure out what to replace it with.
[I walk into the master bedroom w/ freshly heated baked beans and sit down to work at the computer.]
Mar: “I was praying that you’d know to bring me ice cream.”
Me: “I’m sorry, I had beans on my mind.”
Mar: “No. Obviously, you weren’t listening to the Holy Spirit.”

What a weekend. My wife made sure Saturday was an enjoyable one for me, knowing that typical Sundays leave us all wiped out. I ended up having a wonderful day w/ the fam and the feeling rolled into the end of Sunday. Now I just have to wait for the Father’s Day present to show up on the doorstep. Woo-new-camera-hoo!
