Wow. A lot has happened since I took down that tree in late-June.
During July, my family and I spent 2 wonderful weeks in Maine. It was my first time visiting the area and it was amazing! I’ve gathered photos into a set on Flickr. My son, Joey, turned 4 while we were there and we had a great time celebrating his birthday.
What else has happened? Oh, I bought a new (used) car. Managed to pull off a 2000 Nissan Maxima when my friend bought a truck. I’m loving it… well, except for the 90m trips down I-10 in stop-and-go traffic.
I also found out my end date (shutdown) at my current employer. That was nice to find out – it’s been up in the air for months. So… mid-December, I’m hoping to be starting a new job.
